Terms of Use
Last updated: 7/15/2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the
Team Sync Up website at
https://teamsyncup.com (the “Website”) and the
Team Sync Up mobile application (the “App”)
(together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy
explains how we collect and use information and is part of these Terms.
1. Accounts and Eligibility
- You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- The Service is used by youth sports leagues and their teams, and by teams that sign up independently outside of a league. These Terms apply the same way in both cases.
- Children's accounts. Players who are minors may have their own accounts. A child's account must be created by, or with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian, and for children under 13 we require verifiable parent/guardian consent consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Parents/guardians are responsible for their child's account and use of the Service, and may contact us at any time to review, update, or delete their child's account and information.
- Information about minor players should only be provided by the player (through their own account), a parent/guardian, a coach, or an authorized team or league representative.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
2. User-Generated Content and Zero-Tolerance Policy
The Service lets you post and share content, including messages, photos, files, and other materials
(“User Content”). We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive
behavior. You agree not to post or share User Content that:
- Harasses, bullies, threatens, or intimidates any person.
- Contains hate speech or attacks a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
- Is sexually explicit, pornographic, or sexualizes minors in any way.
- Depicts, promotes, or threatens violence.
- Is defamatory, fraudulent, or deliberately misleading.
- Constitutes spam, scams, or unauthorized advertising.
- Violates any law or the rights of any third party (including privacy and intellectual-property rights).
You are solely responsible for the User Content you post. We do not endorse User Content and are not
responsible for it, but we reserve the right to remove any User Content at any time.
3. Moderation, Reporting, and Enforcement
- Filtering: the Service automatically screens messages for objectionable content; screened content may be hidden pending review.
- Reporting: you can report any message in the App (long-press a message → Report). Reported content is hidden from you immediately.
- Timely review: moderators review reports and act on objectionable content within 24 hours, including removing content and ejecting or banning the responsible user.
- Blocking: you can block any user in the App (long-press a message → Block, or from a conversation's member list). You will no longer see their messages and they cannot start direct chats with you. Manage blocks under Settings → Blocked Users.
- Enforcement: violations of the zero-tolerance policy may result in content removal, removal from conversations, suspension, or permanent termination of your account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.
To report abuse or objectionable content outside the App, contact us at
support@m.teamsyncup.com.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service (including scraping, reverse engineering, or introducing malicious code).
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with a team, league, or organization.
- Collect or share information about minors except as the player yourself (through your own account), an authorized parent/guardian, a coach, or a team or league representative.
5. Your License to Us
You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide,
royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit that content as needed to operate and improve
the Service (for example, delivering your message to its recipients or showing a team photo to your team).
6. The Service
- The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We may add, change, or remove features at any time, and may suspend or discontinue the Service.
- Schedules, scores, statistics, and other data in the Service are entered by users and may contain errors; verify important details with your team or league.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Team Sync Up and its owners, employees, and agents will not be
liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data,
arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the
Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (or
$100 if you have not paid us).
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for
violation of these Terms — including our zero-tolerance policy — or to protect the Service or its users.
Sections 5–7 survive termination.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last
updated” date above and may ask you to re-accept in the App. Continued use of the Service after changes
take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law
rules. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal
courts located in California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
11. California Users
11.1 Content Removal for Minors
If you are a California resident under 18 and a registered user, you may request removal of content you
posted to the Service. Email
support@m.teamsyncup.com
with the subject “California Minor Content Removal” and a description of the content, and we will remove
it from public view or anonymize it. Please note that removal may not be complete or comprehensive — for
example, content that someone else copied or reposted, or information we are required by law to retain.
