This Privacy Policy explains how Team Sync Up (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use:
By using the Website or App (together, the “Service”), you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you use the Service, including:
Because our Service is used for youth sports, we may collect information about players, including children, that is provided by a parent/guardian, coach, or league administrator. This can include:
We ask that only parents/guardians, coaches, or authorized league representatives provide information about players who are minors.
When you access or use the Service (via the Website or the App), we may automatically collect certain technical information, such as:
On the Website, we may use cookies and similar technologies to:
You can typically control cookies through your browser settings. If you disable cookies, some features of the Service may not work properly.
If you choose to purchase a subscription or upgrade features (for example, through our Website billing or app store in-app purchases), payment card information is processed by third-party payment processors (such as Stripe, Apple, or Google). We do not store your full payment card details on our own servers.
We may receive limited information related to your purchase (e.g., transaction ID, subscription status, and plan), which we use for account management and support.
If you use these optional features, we collect the audio you submit, the selected song segment, recording and clip titles, announcement text, pronunciation spellings, and any player name or number included in that text. We also store generated previews and announcements, saved clip versions, voice selections, team/player assignments, and playback settings. Choosing a new announcer does not automatically replace or erase earlier recordings.
When you connect a supported music service, we use song identifiers, catalog region, selected cue start and duration, and connection status to provide playback. The music service handles its account authorization and subscription playback; we do not collect your music-service password or upload protected subscription songs to our audio storage. The music service processes requests under its own privacy policy.
We use the information we collect for purposes such as:
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following situations:
We retain information for as long as it is reasonably necessary to provide the Service to you and others, and for legitimate business purposes such as maintaining records, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations.
Saved walk-up clips and previous announcement versions remain available until removed or otherwise deleted under our retention practices. Replacing a selection does not delete the previous file. Temporary previews, rendered mixes, and removed audio may be cleared through separate cleanup processes. Deletion from active use, backup retention, and removal of temporary device copies can occur at different times. We cannot remotely erase a separate recording or export that another person has made. Contact us to request review or deletion of a player's recordings and announcement information, including older versions.
We may anonymize or aggregate information so that it no longer identifies an individual; we may use and retain such data for analytics and product improvement.
Our Service is designed to be used by youth sports organizations, but accounts are managed by adults such as parents/guardians, coaches, or league staff. We do not knowingly allow children to create their own accounts without a parent or guardian’s involvement.
If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete that information. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without your consent, please contact us using the information below.
A child's voice recording and identifying announcement text can be personal information. Only provide them with the authority and parent or guardian consent required by law. Parents and legal guardians may contact us to review, correct, or request deletion of their child's audio and associated information, or to raise a concern about further collection or use. Team permissions alone do not establish parental consent. Optional generated speech is not required to use the team's scheduling and scoring features.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights such as:
Many of these controls can be exercised directly through your account settings (for example, updating your profile or changing notification preferences). You can also contact us to make a request, and we will respond consistent with applicable laws.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to help protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our Service is primarily intended for use in United States of America. If you access the Service from outside this region, your information may be processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top and, if appropriate, provide additional notice (such as in-app or on-site notices).
Your continued use of the Service after the updated policy becomes effective means that you have read and understood the changes.
